  : I didnt stay at HS2 Accommodation, they moved me & my work colleagues to the Wendover Arms, the reason they gave was, the Wendover was a better place and that they had homeless people staying at the HS2 property, well if this was better god knows how bad HS2 would have been. We had been to work it was hot, so we thought wed give it a go. Its a rat run people constantly moving banging doors, I had people 2 metres from my window, socialising smoking and drinking cans up to 23.45 and then coughing and spluttering at 03:30 in the morning waking us up. It was horrendous so week checked out the next morning. I requested a refund for the days left and was told it was being processed the day after we left. 16 days later I had to contact the property about the refund, they said it hadnt been done because they hadnt got my card details.The staff were friendly at the property, thats the only thing positive about the experience. Avoid

  : The chap who checked me in, Ivan I believe. Ivan was helpful and secondary to this, check out was the next best thing.
  : Besides check out, there was nothing to like. This place is better suited to a backstreet in Bangkok. The toilet fan and light did not turn off, they were both situated approx 2 meters away from the bed which made sleeping impossible without ear defenders. Due to this, I complained and moved rooms. The new room was filthy, window blinds where sticky, the sheets stunk of cigarette smoke, no TV remove, broken taps, broken draws, the whole place was grim. Given the state of this place a reasonable payment for one nights stay should not exceed 10. Avoid this awful place. When I told people I had stayed at the worst hotel in Wycombe, they all asked if it was one on the West Wycombe road... It would appear that this place is notoriously bad. Save yourself the money and sleep in a biffa bin, you will smell better in the morning.

  : On arriving at the reception , was told I had to go to partner hotel a mile away.

  : booked room. arrived got told no booking at hotel. showed receipt oh ye !!!! thats not at this hotel weve put you down the road dirty scruffy flea pit. first room had a man in it. Nx room as above.
