  : The common areas such as were clean and inviting. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Restaurant staff at breakfast were also pleasant and welcoming. I have stayed at this hotel several times all because of the location .. westland mall is next door with Macys and JCP. Nearby, you will find other stores such as Walmart, BJs, Ross, Burlington, Lowes, Marshall's, Target, old Navy along with a good range of restaurants. All accessible by walking, bus or Uber.... so the location is perfect.
  : The rooms need refreshing. The carpets are old and worn and honestly a little yucky looking. Equipment such as coffee machines did not work properly. There was a group of us staying, and everyone had some kind of issue with safes, irons, coffee machines. Door access cards often stopped working. The staff claimed this was due to being close to cell phones. I understand that does happen but with every room, several times during the stay?????. We stayed at other hotels during this trip and this hotel is the only one where we experienced this. It was annoying and inconvenient. The card access system needs updating.My biggest issue is the beds. The mattresses in my room were dirty. Stains all over. No bed protectors so obviously body juices etc from other previous guests will stain the mattress. It seems the hotel staff just places the sheet over the mattress and the mattresses are not cleaned. The stains are clearly visible through the white sheets. Other persons in my group experienced this, and I had the same issue on my last visit and complained about it. I have photos of the mattresses but won't add to this review. This all contributes to a musty odor when entering the room.Finally, I know this is Florida and you have a great majority of Spanish residents. I know basic Spanish myself, but honestly don't you think some of your staff should know a little English in order to communicate better with the thousands of English visitors who book your hotel?Holiday inn.. you have a great location but it's time to do something about the mattresses and the condition of the carpets etc. Other than the things I mentioned above, the rooms are well appointed.

  : The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was small but fine for 1 person. I felt safe and the hotel area was clean
  : There was a single sock found by the bedside table. So it felt like the room was not properly cleaned. There were rust stains in the tub. The tub needs to be changed
