  : Warm welcome was provided and the property has an old charm, but yet a homely feel to it. Our room was newly refurbished but it is an old building, so it has some character, which we liked. It is not slick, but rather grand. The bed was comfortable and breakfast good. Enjoyed it in the garden room and the second morning in the dining room. Very filling, and there were some interesting preserves on offer, which I don't normally go for, but curiosity got the better of me. The lounge was comfortable to sit in and wait for my husband, but we did not use the bar. A very nice stay overall.
  : I was missing some water on the breakfast table. There was only orange juice, and I would have welcomed sachets of mustard, but perhaps that is not popular. No big deal, hence we did not mention it, but maybe something for the future.
