  : Our main reason for staying at the Poseidon Hotel was our need to be near the ferry port for an early morning sail to Santorini. This place fitted the bill perfectly - our balcony overlooked the port area! We also needed to return a hire car to the airport which was just a 15 minute drive away with a good public bus service back. We decided to head downtown in the evening for dinner and this was an easy and comfortable walk. The lady on reception was lovely; very kind and helpful. Our room was as we expected; no frills accommodation but clean and totally adequate for our brief stopover. The bed was comfortable, the air con was efficient and we slept well. Thank you team Poseidon!

  : The place is easily accesible from the airport and the city center by a bus that passes every 10 minutes.It is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is quite big and it has AC and a balcony.
  : Unfortunately you could hear the planes passing over but that is a thing in the whole city since they fly low. With earplugs I could sleep well

  : Staff friendly and helpful but a very basic hotel but priced accordingly. Lovely restaurant nearby.
  : Description said a 5 minute walk from port but it was more like 20 minutes from the ferry wharf along uneven pavements on streets behind Port and even took us longer as it was hard to find. The description may have been 5 minutes from the cruise ship terminal but this wasnt made clear. Tiny shower, hard beds.

  : Its just on the extended Heraklion airport runway so its noisy by airplanes after take-off.
