  : The room was remodeled and very nice as well as clean.
  : It would have been helpful to have a table in the room to sit at. The breakfast was not even a good continental one. For such a nice hotel that was disappointing and there was not even creamer.

  : This was a charming little refurbished motel. There's nothing much nearby but a gas station and an Indian restaurant (which is quite good), but it's right off I-40. No pool or fancy facilities, from the exterior it looks like something out of the 1940s or 50s. But the rooms are very nice, and perfect for an overnight stay. It was busy, but very quiet in my room.
  : I was a little startled to be asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room, because most places are entirely non-smoking now. I requested non-smoking, and was directed to pull my car around to the far side of the second building. When I opened the door to my room I gagged at the stench -- and I'm NOT that sensitive! I tried leaving the door open while I brought in my luggage but it didn't help. I returned to the office and told the desk clerk, and she accompanied me back and agreed. Fortunately the room she gave me after that was pristine and odor-free. I don't believe they'll EVER get the stink out of the room they gave me first.
