  : I liked that the rooms were different than the chain hotels and I loved the deck right off the room, next to the water. It was private and quiet and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. The staff as very accommodating.
  : Needs a king size bed in all the rooms and could have used and ice machine after the front desk was closed.

  : What a darling little motel with super friendly staff! It's a perfectly Northwoods place, just like the pictures but with a dose of warmth that doesn't show online. I was one of only two full rooms on a winter weekend, and the staff brushed the snow off my car for me and didn't snowblow until it was almost time for me to check out, in case I was sleeping! Comfortable mattress, EXCELLENT heating in room, and somehow the ordinary minfridge/microwave/coffeemaker setup seemed more appealing than normal. The Queen bed + sofa setup had lots of room in the middle and a little entry area that made it cozy. Good hot water, newly redone shower/bathroom. And very central location near main street and all the happenings, restaurants etc. nearby. I'll be back!
