  : fantastic location, just outside Hawkshead village, about 5 min walk into centre. lovely little table and chairs at the side of the property to sit and watch the world go by.
  : House is a bit smaller than the pictures show, and would therefore better suit a couple with small children, than two couples as there is not a lot of room in rooms. The upstairs lounge and kitchen area are compact but perfectly suited our needs.

  : The cottage was welcoming, warm and cosy. The beds were so comfortable and very hard to get out of in the mornings. We felt instantly at home when we arrived. The view from the living room is beautiful and there are some really nice walks from the cottage. We will definitely return.
  : There was nothing we did not like, other than our stay was cut short due to a power cut in Hawkshead Village. We were gutted to have to leave 3 Vale View after only 3 nights of 7.

  : Location was perfect. 10 minute walk to the most beautiful village of Hawkshead. Lovely views from cottage. Nice little outdoor sitting area. Great kitchen and amenities.
  : The master room bed mattress was very soft. Firmer mattress needed. The bathroom sink has separate hot and cold taps. A mixer is needed.
