  : Very close to Hawi, HI. Easy to walk. Cute town and cute hotel/B&B. We had a good experience there!

  : Property and home were beautiful. Great location for exploring North Kohala Would love to have had more time to enjoy pool and property.
  : There were a couple of issues - the bathroom was not very clean, tons of hair on sink and in shower. Upon checkout, there was a hefty cleaning fee which was not disclosed at booking, which was additionally frustrating since the space wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been. Booking.com indicated breakfast was included, and it was not. Not a huge deal, but would have planned things differently if we had known. Check in/Check out was so informal we weren’t sure if anyone even knew we were there. I have a feeling many of these issues were due to the fact we booked through a third party and the listing information is incomplete/incorrect there.

  : Gorgeous property that has been updated sympathetically with its history, and has a variety of clean, stylish rooms. The food made by the one-woman miracle who runs the place is AMAZING, both for breakfast and through her Shiva Diva delivery service. Location in beautiful Hawi is perfect for a couple of days 'far from the madding crowds'. I also love that the proprietor has made this a non-smoking, no alcohol location - gives you a real chance to get away from things and take refuge in this wonderful part of Hawaii.
  : The cottages on the property have been converted from a former barn, and are still more basic than the main property.

  : That bookings.com double booked us! And the cost of a tent was too much at $125 a night for glamping.
