  : Fantastic location, quiet and with great views.Large, comfortable and spotlessly clean room with a balcony looking out over the valley.Very friendly staff.Delicious and reasonably priced food.Excellent value for money.

  : Breakfast was good. Friendly service. Quality of food very good. Very clean and a wonderful location.
  : Ruhrtag on the day we arrived!. A hotel with 16 rooms surely cannot permit to have a day with no service. Dinner menu was the same everyday. Maybe a chefs special that changes each day? Portions were enormous, to the point of having to waste food!

  : This is a lovely hotel run by a nice couple who do everything to make the guests comfortable. We loved the restaurant, the breakfast (especially during the week-end - mostly local and unpackaged products), the bed, the fact of having a sofa in the room. We could also rely on the hosts for advice for activities. They speak English, too.
  : The door of the toilet in the room doesn't close properly by design, which is a bit embarrassing. I think it would be very easy to come up with a solution to that.

  : The hotel is located in a tranquil rural setting. Our room had a good sized balcony that overlooked the fields and woods to the rear of the property. It was very quiet. The room was immaculately appointed and clean. Very comfortable and modern. The shower room was very clean and well equipped. Eggs and pancakes are cooked to order at breakfast. There is a lift which is just as well as the accommodation is arranged over several floors.
  : The hotel's own restaurant was not open on the night we stayed. This was disappointing as it was not in the hotel description. Fortunately we had enough notice to make alternative arrangements. As it was the owners day off when we arrived they had left the necessary paper work and room key on the reception desk for us to find. However, although this worked fine it all felt a bit impersonal. We only got to met them briefly at breakfast and on checkout.
