  : Really good central location with limited parking spaces, and tasty breakfast. The staff are friendly, especially the young lady with a ponytail that served us breakfast on Thursday, I should have asked her name.
  : The floors are very creaky as it's an old building, and the mattress in our room has seen better days.

  : Great location. Friendly Staff. Room was immaculately clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot choc and water in the room. Bathroom was huge and had roll top bath as well a separate shower. Complimentary shower gel, shampoo/conditionner and soap. Ironing board and iron in the room. Fan provided if room too warm and heater if you felt a chill. Decent blackout curtains. Free parking to the rear of the property if you get there early enough or as someone checking out is leaving. Jubilee car park opposite is £16 for 24hrs if the hotel car park is full. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Service was excellent and food was served in a timely fashion despite being busy. All in all a great stay with lovely friendly staff.
  : The paint in the room was quite chipped which was a shame as otherwise it was lovely. But I’d take a clean room with a little chipped paint any day over immaculate decor and a dirty room. Well down to the cleaning staff as it really was immaculate.Only one small hand towel provided so make sure you take a bath towel with you. Road noise was a bit of an issue for me as I live in a quiet area so not used to the noise. Woke me a couple of times but not so much that it spoiled the stay. I’d stay again but ask for a room at the back of the hotel.Despite the blackout curtains there was still quite a lot of light in the room from the street lighting and signs. Again, not so bad that it spoiled my stay but a room to the rear of the property probably wouldn’t have this problem.

  : Stayed here last night (7th July) in room two. The room and bathroom were much bigger than expected and we had a lovely view overlooking the main street via a large bay window. The location of the property is very good to access shops, train station and pubs/restaurants and wasn't noisy. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. We frequent Harrigate at least once a year and I shall definitely be looking to stay here again. I liked that breakfast was included (full English) with plenty of other options. We had a Sunday roast here last night and I have to say it was one of the best roast dinners I have ever had and I heard two other diners also say the same thing.
