  : Loved the location. The house is directly in front of the ocean so we had some beautiful sunrises and views and it was lovely to hear the waves while lying in bed. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony during the day and also in the evening for drinks. Punta Mujeres is a nice small town. Quiet and relaxing. Loved our swims off the rocks (especially on Christmas morning) and nice walks along the oceanfront in the evening. Small mini-market in walking distance so great for getting fresh bread and croissants for breakfast. Plenty of nice restaurants in Arrieta which is also in walking distance. The house is lovely, liked the decor and colours. Great to have two bathrooms. Very good shower. Kitchen is really well equipped with plenty of utensils, plates, glasses etc. We only used it for breakfast but I imagine it's also great for cooking as everything is provided. The mattress on the double bed was very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space and beautiful views from both bedrooms. Alejandro very kindly booked a restaurant for us for lunch on Christmas day a few days before our arrival. Restaurante Tacande in Hara. Excellent, top quality food. Really enjoyed it.
  : Maintenance work: When we arrived the walls had been treated for dampness in the hall and kitchen but had not yet been painted. It looked very unsightly. The owner sent a message on the evening of our arrival explaining this inconvenience, however, I would suggest completing maintenance work before guests arrive and closing the house for a period for said maintenance. Bed linen/covers: The double bedroom had a duvet in the wardrobe which we decided to use as it was quite cool at night. The duvet cover had not been washed since the last guests had been there. This is not acceptable and not only due to covid. The single beds had only sheets and a light bed cover. During winter months, I would suggest leaving extra bed covers at guests' disposal in the wardrobes. Leaks: During our stay it rained on a few occasions and water leaked from the roof onto the stairs. One morning water had also seaped during the night through the grouting of the floor tiles in the hall/kitchen. Needless to say the house was somewhat damp. I imagine during summer months that this is not the case. Private carpark/patio: Impossible to use. We couldn't find the remote to open the bar and even if we had there was a car parked in front of it every day. Parking, however, was not a problem along the seafront. I would not mention on the website that there is free private parking as this is not the case. The patio at the back of the house needs to be cleaned. The sunbeds, table and chairs were very dirty and rusty. The photo is quite misleading so I would suggest updating or removing it altoghether.

  : House is situated in a quiet street overlooking the sea. Great balcony with sea view, with a fabulous sun rise. WiFi is good, well equipped kitchen, good sized bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space The town is unspoilt only a few bars and restaurants, locals are very friendly
