  : The room was large - 2 king beds. The walk-in shower was new and very nice. Towels were fluffy. There was a kitchen with utensils, cookware, coffee maker, hot water maker, dishes, microwave and mini frig. Although, the stove top was cracked and the oven was broken, so we didn't use them. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, drug store and market. Sat farmer's market next door at Parker school was a treat. A couple of years ago we stayed at the ISO on Kauai, another one of Castle properties, that we very much enjoyed so we choose this one on Big Island but they are very different.
  : No A/C, we had to ask for a fan. No closet or place to hang clothes. Had to ask for a hairdryer. For such a large room there was only 1 chair. Beware of the roosters crowing at all hours, we got used to them but didn't like the school's early morning (6am) noise of backing up trucks or buses. This property has a lot of potential and we did notice some of the rooms being up graded with new furniture. BTW, no night Staff, they are gone after 3p.

  : Friendly staff, good location, reasonably priced, clean rooms.
  : Loud guest walking at all hours upstairs. This room (115) is the last room down the hallway and there is a dumpster belonging to Parker School 10 feet outside the window. Aside from the slight smell blowing in the window, the dumpster truck came to empty it at 5:30AM. Do not stay in the last room!
