  : Breakfast was above average for the motels that offer it. The bed was fine
  : We had to change rooms because the shower in the first one did not drain. In the second room the bathroom light would not turn off - we reported it and they corrected that, but then the other light did not turn on, nor did the hair dryer. We understand the 3-day sheet replacement practice, but do not believe that that also means that the beds are not made up, which was the case. The shower head is clogged, the sink is chipped. The bed is positioned so that the air conditioning/heat outlet flows directly onto the pillow. The room is large enough to move the bed away from that wall.

  : The front desk staff tried. She was really nice.
  : When we arrived, they canceled our reservation because it was late. Evidently, lots of people just don't show up. The first room they gave us had people sleeping in it. The woman working the front desk went and checked to make sure that the next room didn't. (She was really great. Evidently, the woman who worked the shift before her screwed up a lot of the check-ins in the system.) We got into that room and the sheets were dirty. There was some sort of black gunk that smeared with my finger. The pictures don't really capture how bad it was. Staff offered to change the sheets, but we were done. At that point I called around and found a place with an opening. We immediately checked out.
