  : Check in was excellent and we were warmly welcomed. Our cases were taken to our room and we were shown how the facilities in our room worked. We were given a bay window room with views over the golf course and sea. The breakfast was excellent and the service was friendly.

  : excellent breakfast with plenty of options available. Large bedroom with comfortable bed and wonderful view from window. Plenty of hot water in shower but hardly any hot water coming out of hand basin so had to boil a kettle to get hot water in morning.
  : Would have preferred a walk-in shower. Thought it would have been nice to have some newspapers in the lounge to read even if they were local papers giving information regarding local events of places to go.

  : The views where brilliant short walk to the beach easy access also pet friendly The facilitys were ok no different to any normal gym with a steam room sauna and pool Breakfast was perfect very good selection to choose from
  : The price I feel that for 303.75 for one night is absolutely ridiculous considering what you get for that kind of money the way its presented on booking .com isnt being honest there are a lot of charges once your there ie it doesnt state on the web site the massage spa is a separate booking and was full booked so we couldnt use it The bar is extremely expensive 10 a pint of beer and 13:45 for a archers and lemonade apart from that its a nice place to go but its not worth the money they are asking for per night

  : Magnificent old hotel, which could make more of its history. Staff were plentiful, polite and helpful. Beds were perfect!
  : We couldnt find a really comfortable chair anywhere in the hotel! Lots of different styles of armchair in lounge, bar and bedroom, but most filled with incredibly high density foam.

  : It's a beautiful hotel & location but down at the heel & so made for a disappointing stay..for example: spa - thermal pool (aka the best bit) broken throughout our stay; one steam room broken; water dispenser, broken; en suite bathroom (kinda grotty) - tap broken; sink cracked & broken; heating not working properly; hotel sitting room (beautiful design & location) - the cream sofa is very soiled - avoid it... Disappointed as after an extremely stressful year we finally sorted out care & got a rare weekend away for our 20th wedding anniversary, we even paid for an extra nice room but lots of disappointment...Just wanted/expected far more.

  : We were treated like criminals because my friend is legally prescribed cannabis for seizures so they tried to say we smoked in the room which was a flat out lie she didnt even bring it in the hotel not that they could have stopped her if she had. They took it upon themselves to search our room without us knowing then threatened to phone the police on us. Told them to go ahead and call them but they wouldnt because they knew we had done nothing wrong. The operations manager Stephen then progressed to harass us and follow us through the hotel saying he deals with all complaints so we cant even complain I asked to speak to the hotel manager but they refused. I had to email there head office in America. Worst trip of my life avoid this place like the plague.
