  : For £80 with breakfast included, friendly staff and good location this was ideal for our needs. Property was interesting and characterful. Plenty of original features, which we liked. Breakfast room was lovely and sunny. Breakfast okay. Room was really nice in many ways. Bed clean and comfortable.
  : Nothing that would take much to fix to create the best impression in our room: dust on skirting boards and plastic flowers; loose hooks and fixings; mis-matched toilet seat.

  : I like the idea it was nestle behind the trees an away from the road. Very quite an excellent for a good night's sleep. We only had a light breakfast as we were still full after the food from the Beefeater up the hill.

  : Staff were very welcoming and friendly. A pot of tea was made for us on arrival which was excellent.
  : The room was above the kitchen and a stale oil smell permeated the room if the window was opened.The breakfast was very poor. Contrary to descriptions in previous reviews. Tea and coffee were in large flasks and were tepid. Avacado on toast was inedible.
