  : The serenity, the ambience, the friendly staff (although we encountered only 2 who covered a variety of roles with professionalism and cheerfulness). I will remember the wonderful gourmet delights of the table d'hote menu: so many courses and each one exquisite. I loved the sense of history and the superb quality of the refurbishment. For instance, the wood used for the bedroom furniture matched that of the bedroom doors and the windows. It was understated, tasteful and calming.
  : Having to have the bedroom window either fully closed or open. A latch to secure a partial opening would be appreciated. Also, the breakfast replenishment was left to the receptionist, who was also busy with checkouts. I had to search her out to ask for more bread and then coffee. If having a skeleton staff is the price for my being able to stay here, then that is fine.

  : The service at the reception, very nice person. The building of the hotel is great.
  : Bad bedding (very bad mattress and linen). Very bad sound-proofing (you can hear everything in the other rooms even during the night) Very cold/humid in the room (heater out of order ?) Bad and tiny bathroom : so tiny and slow flow shower Windows very dirty :( I personally didn't like the breakfast (butter was kind of rancid), a lot of choice but tasteless and not good quality ..... I chose this hotel because of good comments and I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this hotel in spite of the great view and the great building.

  : Historic place. Quiet. Close by car to the old town. Free access to large swimming pool.
  : The breakfast was not good. I would expect better quality, local products, fresh croissants, true orange juice, ..,. from such a place (and price). Children bed two small and uncomfortable. We were two adults and two adolescents in one room. Dated equipment in the room (few and dated electrical outlet, no air-conditioning)
