The elegant Hotel Nesslerhof in Großarl is located right opposite the Hochbrand Cable Car. It features a spa area and an indoor pool offering panoramic views of the surrounding Hohe Tauern Mountain Range. All rooms have large windows and a balcony with mountains views. Like the entire hotel they are furnished in a subtle combination of wood natural stone and glass. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel.

Spa facilities include a steam bath an infrared cabin and 2 saunas also offering panoramic views of the Alpine surroundings. Modern fitness facilities and a sunbathing terrace overlooking Großarl are available as well. There is a buffet and an à-la-carte restaurant serving traditional Salzburg specialities and modern cuisine. A buffet breakfast with organic products of local origin can be enjoyed every morning. The half-board dinner includes a choice of 4 different main courses salad cheese and ice-cream buffets.

Themed buffet and a gala dinner are offered once a week. In winter you can ski right down to the front door of the Nesslerhof and a ski school for children can be found right next to the hotel. A petting zoo is located next door and an adventure playground is just a 5-minute walk away and is accessible for free.

: The food was amazing. Lots of vegetarian options and variety. Excellent buffet and a La carte breakfast. Amazing buffet snack in the afternoon. Special shout out to Tobias who looked after us at dinner. My room was super comfortable and spacious with a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and facilities great for families but didnt feel kiddie. Communal spaces well designed and spacious. Great location for ski lift. Ski in- ski out when theres snow!
: The spa treatment was not up to the quality I would expect from a hotel like this.

: Food was amazing! Breakfast has everything! We didn't try lunch though. Dinner was also delicious! You can either pay like 42 EUR for the hole Dinner-Menu or just order one thing like Schnitzel or from the salad bar. Spa is also very cool with lots of rooms and Sauna styles. In the dinner you can still see the different Design-styles (new and old), but I think they made a good job. They have like three different pools and you can move freely all over the place discovering all the different options for young and old. For some nice relaxation days is the right place to visit. There are also arranged activities every day (like guided tours or yoga) and many hiking tracks around. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy like 1 min drive away.
: We booked a room that is located in the building next door (40 seconds walk or so). It's like their old original Pension, where it seems like some family members still live there or something. The style is completely different and old. Our room was refurbished, but the bathroom was sooo old!!! Was working and all but was not a nice contrast with the rest of the hotel. They should def. change that. The cheaper rooms don't have to be as amazing as the expensive ones, but that was really not a nice bathroom. You can access the hotel with your robe through an underground tunnel so you don't have to cross upstairs through the reception and works just fine.
