  : Location and food was excellent .the staff friendly .efficient and helpful .the room was small but had everything to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and there was sufficient draws and a wardrobe (which was great) but the decor was dated and need refreshing. carpets were worn and stained. the sink in the shower room was so small you had to fill a glass to pour water in the kettle. The bar was well stocked and maintained but on Saturday night they had a group on from 9 till 11 the bar was open till 1am and folk were still talking under our room window at 1.30 Sunday morning .(we were to vacate for 10 .) Parking was down the road on a first come first serve basis .(we were lucky..)

  : Relaxed Yorkshire ambience. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities, and 2 bottles of water. Also, managed to get a free parking space in the market square. Try that before going to the car parks because its much closer to the pub hotel for lugging your luggage there.

  : The Foresters provides excellent value for money in the centre of Grassington. The room was clean and functional. The meals were particularly good. Excellent cooked breakfast and a wide range of evening meals. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I was warned beforehand that there would be live music in the bar on the Saturday night which was good of them. Car parking can be a bit hit or miss in the centre of the village depending on whether you can find a space somewhere.
  : It's easy to criticise but as a constructive comment the stair carpet up to the rooms really could do with replacing as it's bordering on dirty and doesn't give a great initial impression to guests.
