  : Location is perfect for the Lakes, about half an hour drive from Windermere. Great little town for a family holiday with lots of little shops and boutiques and fantastic restaurants. The Crossways was very pleasant, easy to find and safe location, stunning view on to the bay from 2 of the bedrooms. Great access to the beautiful promenade for walking the dog. Lots of room in the house for everyone. Garden is very much for adult use only, there are multiple steps and lots of little shrubs and plants and uneven paths - not kid friendly at all. There is no side gate or fence to the front of the property so had to keep an eye on my youngest and our small dog. There's no room for any sort of garden games or just to run around with a ball. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the beds weren't too uncomfortable. There are blinds in all bedrooms so we didn't wake up at the crack of dawn.
  : There were no toiletries available. Not a single tea bag or spoon of coffee in the house. Not a drop of fresh milk and no sugar, salt or pepper etc. We didn't pack for camping so had to make a quick dash to Tescos to get those essentials and have a cuppa. TV rarely worked as the signal was very poor. Wi-fi was the worst we have seen at 3mbs, it was barely enough to launch Netflix. We ended up using our phones as hotspots so the children could watch something in the evening.
