  : The house is very nice an spacious and the location in the Albaycin is amazing (but beware, the area is not great if you have a pushchair or travel with people with limited mobility). The private pool is a real bonus in the middle of August in Granada and the patio is great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The views are truly amazing.
  : I am normally extremely positive in my reviews and I would probably still choose to stay at this property. But there are many things about it that fall below expectations: There are two big issues with the house: (1) The house has A/C only in the bottom and top floors, leaving the middle floor, with 3 bedrooms, with no air con. This is a real nightmare if you are travelling in the middle of August. (2) The second main inconvenience was the kitchen: we were travelling as a family planning to do family meals in the house. This didn't happen. First day, when we were going to cook we realised there were no matches or way to light the fires. Second try, we realised only 2 out of 4 fires worked, and the ones that worked did so with very little power (it took 30 mins to boil the water for pasta for the kids!). When I reported it to the agency I was told that the owner would be informed so it can be repaired, but there was no attempt to making any repairs while we were there. As a result, we were confined to microwaving or ordering food. Not ideal, to say the least! Then there were the small inconveniences: the appliances in the kitchen were of poor quality, the kitchen is not well equipped, the tap in the toilet on the bottom floor is a drip, the pump for the soap doesn't work, furniture was worn off etc etc etc... All things that are not a huge deal if you are in a cheap accommodation but that are frankly annoying if you have booked an "exclusive villa". To make things worse, I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned 5 days after I left the property, despite chasing and having been informed that the payment has already been made. So, as I write this, I don't know if I will be refunded the full amount as I read from other reviewers that they were charged for small things.

  : Electricity tripped frequently when using kitchen appliances. No A/C on 1st floor. Pillows not good quality or comfortable. Kitchen would benefit from more large tea cups, more sharp knives, tea towels. Large gas ring was not working.

  : Wonderful location, garage for the car but would recommend taxi as driving in the albecin area is not for the faint hearted (narrow steep streets, maze like layout, one way systems and occasional roadworks), views are awesome, good bars and restaurants nearby, really lovely place
  : Pool is a bit run down (but perfectly useable and was vital in 38 degree heat) and you will need something to keep the mosquitoes off! Be useful to have a few kitchen basics like salt and pepper

  : Awesome house. Beautifully decorated. Very spacious on 3 floors. Loved the pool - perfect spot to cool off in hot summer. Views of Alhambra are wonderful. Location close to little square with cafes and mini supermarket - but only open later in day. Buses and taxis easy to get near the house or walk into centre of Granada.
  : The house is in the Albaicin so were talking narrow roads which big cars cant really get down, so if you have a lot of luggage youll likely be dragging it up to top of road when you leave. . Not fun in the heat. Taxi drivers dont want to go down that road. Rooms where aircon is located are lovely and cool. Middle floor - no aircon or fans. Owners should put in ceiling fans to cool the bedrooms on this floor.

  : The property was in an excellent location, in Granada old town, with beautiful views of the Alhambra
  : There were only two air conditioned rooms throughout the whole house, the main bedroom and the living room. The aircon units were also too small for the size of the rooms. It was impossible to sleep in the bedrooms on the middle floor as they were too hot. Kitchen was very old and the oven took forever to heat up. The shutters in the bedrooms on the middle floor were broken, meaning that sunlight streaming in made these rooms even hotter. We received terrible service from the agency. We were informed that we would be met at the property as wed need to show passports etc. Upon arrival (after 8 pm) there was no one to be found. We had no mobile data so couldnt log into our booking.com account. We eventually managed to log in and had been sent a message with the key safe combination whilst on our flight. It took so long to get into the house that we missed the night tour at the Alhambra we had booked. We received no apology from the agency whatsoever. Despite this setback, we did have a lovely stay in Granada but thought the house was very expensive given the facilities provided and were not impressed with the service we received.
