: Good location, if you have a car, with a small washer and dryer and soap! The washer takes 2 hours and the dryer takes 3. The room is in a finished basement area with a separate entrance so you have plenty of privacy. The bed is large and there is a pullout sofa that is a 7/10 out of comfort for the sofa. Some of the appliances like the tea kettle could be updated and the sofa was a little stained. But everything seemed clean.
: I would have given this place a much better review if not for two things.One, they want cash or a bank transfer! No where in the Booking.com information do they specify this. They only notified us of this after I made the reservation. Since I am traveling without data or cell service, I did not know until I showed up on their front porch. Cash is almost absolute in Sweden. We wasted half a day in Granna trying to get cash. The Bankomat (atm) would not take our credit card because it doesnt have a pin code. It was such a hassle and wasted so much of our precious time. If the tobacco shop owner hadnt taken pity on us, I dont know what we would have done. They should specify this in Booking.Two, the listing specifies they have private onsite parking, but they had us park our rental car on the public street in front of their house. The car was fine, but this is not what was advertised.

: The best stay ever! Never was it so easy to check-in and check-out. We have chosen this place for New Year's Eve. We spent there 2 nights. It is very quiet and cosy room with all useful supplies for comfortable staying. The host family is superb! The lake is really beautiful even in winter.
: It was a little bit cold in the room.
