  : The location was excellent and the room was very clean.
  : Nothing major but there was no mushrooms on the breakfast as they had run out and then they had no fish fingers on the lunch menu as they had run out. Nothing that would stop me staying here again at this great pub.

  : They found us a quiet room at the back but we neednt have worried because any noise stops when the pub closes. We would probably have had a view of the Abbey with a room at the front. We were able to park in their car park.
  : The style- It must have originally been a nice old pub but the menus, even the breakfast menu make it seem like a fast food joint. There is no one on duty once the pub has closed. Guests let themselves in and out by a street door.

  : Very friendly staff who seemed genuinely concerned about the noise there would be- offered ear plugs. Comfy bed, clean room. Central location
  : I appreciated that the room might be a bit noisy - is a pub after all . I didnt know there would be a band playing underneath my bedroom- this should be on the listing for weekend bookings. I would not have chosen this place if I had known, but was too late. Request for a quieter room on having discovered this were not actually actioned, despite assurances that I would be furthest from music. Was just too loud.

  : Advertised with carpark but so small there was no space to park until late evening and difficult to get space in town car parks too. The noise in the evening made it impossible to sleep. Pub on ground floor has conservatory type roof just below bedroom and windows in bedrooms old and don't shut properly. Very loud music literally made bed vibrate. Says on website pub shuts at 11pm but this went on till midnight. Just before 6am lots of noise and banging from pub as clearing up began so awake again. Strongly feel that the price should reflect this or there should be a warning on booking.com that it is a very noisy pub so only suitable if you want to stay out late
