  : We liked the location of the property with nice woods/forest around us
  : At the reception, they charged us 40 euros (10 euros each person) for the bed linen which was an unexpected cost; if we knew about it that the cost will go up so high. There were better properties (all included) at that price. We would have chosen other properties. So the total amount showing on booking.com is misleading as there will be unexpected cost later on. Please be aware. The cooking utensils were really bad and dull. Cheap Ikea stuff which have not been changed forever. The kitchen tap was almost coming out. The bed and the pillows were horrible. The pillows were not changed forever so it is no longer usable anymore. Spiders were all inside the house making webs. It was not very clean and overall we did not think it was worth the money we paid for 2 nights.

  : The location and maintenance, well kept, close to Steenwijk and Giethoorn. The infrastructure is also simplistic and in the woods, which gives that rustic feeling.
  : The people at front desk. I have travelled all over the world and do not take towels with me nor linens. After a flight of 9 hours, the last thing that you want to do is to go look for towels and linens. In a 3 bedroom cottage, the beds in only 2 bedrooms are made so I need to do the rest myself. Besides, I never received my refund on the accidental damage warranty because I left 3 coffee cups in the dishwasher and trash near the bin, while nothing was damaged. I will never stay here again and will not recommend this place. I have this feeling of not being welcome as they seem to rather service local visitors.

  : Natural environment~ Hotel was around with green trees, wild flowers and nice and fresh air, birds' singing woke me up in the sunshine morning, reception desk and breakfast room were both I enjoyed...bright and relaxing...Besides, I really appreciated the help from a young and tall lady (sorry I forgot her name).She was very nice, very patient and very helpful... she came to knocked at my door twice to make sure I could get a taxi arragment.. She deserved all the praised words for what she did...
  : It took me around 40 minus to drag my baggage to walk to the hotel and I was told this was the only way for a single lady without driving a car. So if the hotel can think about to arrange a small hotel pick-up will be better(with payment for this pick-up)..otherwise, this hotel may have to fit for the people who drive a car only !
