: It was clean and the lady we met was very helpful.
: The description of the unit is that there is an elevator (it is very, very small) in the building. There is. What it doesn't mention is that you must have the legs of a mountain goat to climb the very steep hill and many stairs to get to it. Definitely not for someone carrying any luggage whatsoever, disabled in any way or older. When I asked about the air conditioning when we finally got into the unit, I was told it was automatic. There is no air conditioning...unless you count the floor fan. The unit never really cooled off and because we had to leave the window open, it was quite noisy as the unit faced an often used street. The bed(s) consisted of a fold out couch and a fold-in-half rollaway bed.Shower? Small. As in an average person can rotate.Kitchen? Minimally equipped.Good luck even finding the building as there are no markings on it to indicate the address.

Disappointing

: Groundfloor Apartment, entrance to the house smelled from urine. The whole apartment smelled damp and in the bathroom was a cockroach

  : Good location, comfortable beds.
: Despite 10 cleaning costs, cutlery, dishes and cooking equipment were all dirty and needed cleaning before use. The property smells damp. There was a dead cockroach in the room.

: Location is ok since its right in the city centre
: Very small, super humid(signs of mold on the walls), the windows do not guarantee any level of privacy. There is no air conditioning, just a tiny cheap fan, which means youre forced to keep the windows open at all time. There is a big wardrobe but you cant use it because its filled with bed sheets and other things probably used by the cleaner. There is also a big chest of draws, but again, you cant use it because its filled with stuffs from the owner. The bathroom is small with a triangle mirror that, if you stand up, you cant use. The shower door doesnt close properly so every time you take a shower you risk to create a lake on the floor. They charged us 10 for towels which is extremely ridiculous since its the minimum offered by any bnb. On top of everything, the first night there was no wifi and we had to use our own hotspot.ps: before we arrived they told us we had to pay 20 extra because nobody could be there in the bnb at our estimated time of arrival. We were expecting the keys to be placed in a secure box with some sort of access code etcinstead we found the keys hidden in the gas box outside the flat

Very Good

: A modern apartment in and older area of Genoa. Close to public transport.
: Very difficult to find when we arrived. It is on a hill so we had to drag our suitcases up the hill to get to the train station when we left.

Very Good

: Good conection to the city metro; the apartment is located 50 m. from the metro station "Sarzano/Sant'Agostino".
: Lack of instructions to arrive to the apartment, because there is not access for cars at those address.

  : only location
: There was mold at every window which affected my wife's health as she started to cough when we were in the room. Sofa was uncomfortable for two persons. The internet was very weak as the instagram could not be loaded sometimes. Washing machine was one of the main reason we did book this room, however it smelled really bad and we did not use it at all. There was no sea view as this was written in the description. The running water was very low and we did not shower for five days until we return. The room itself requires many revisions. I am not happy with booking.com as they gave this room 3 star which is really high and misleading for a room with these types of problems. I could have booked a hotel with 100 Euro more, but with more comfort if it was not because of the 3 star given by booking.com. There was no guarantee that I receive my money back, otherwise I would exit and go to another place.

: Pretty convenient location, near to a shop and nice to walk around, had all the facilities we needed and washing machine for clothes
: No wifi throughout our stay, werent informed that the metro would be shut on the day that we arrived, couldnt really see the sea, and only a fan made it quite warm
