  : It was very dated and could do with a refresh. There was no air conditioner and with the window open it was very noisy with police sirens through the night

  : The location near the train station was what we needed to get to the airport in the morning.
  : The inconvenient size of the room. We had never seen a room so narrow and small - it was like a skinny closet. And the bed was very small for two people - less than a standard double bed size.

  : Great location close to public transport and restaurants/shops. Staff we very friendly. Room was nice and bathrooms were clean. Reception also sent us a pass which allowed free tram/bus/ferry travel in Geneva and to the airport which was amazing!
  : Only bad thing was the bed, it felt smaller than a regular double which was quite squished for 2 adults, but not unbearable.

  : The location was extremely good. The room for one person wasn't big, but to be honest it was perfectly set up in a way that i felt like i really didn't need more space. I loved the style of the building, it's old but in a beautiful way.

  : I needed a short stopover between my train arriving at midnight and one leaving the next morning at 6.30 am. This hotel was perfect - a 6 minute walk, in the centre of the town. The room was better than I expected - clean and neat with a comfortable bed. It was quiet while I was there but one might get traffic noises in the evening and morning. Geneva is an expensive town but this hotel was inexpensive which was a great advantage. Although the bathroom was shared the hotel was quiet and I didn't hear people accessing the bathroom. Communication was excellent ahead of my stay as the desk was going to be unstaffed when I arrived.
  : I don't have any complaints. It would not be first choice if one were staying for a period and making Geneva one's base - shared bathroom and no breakfast (though lots of excellent options locally). For what I wanted, a stop over near the railway station, it was perfect.
