  : We needed to wait for a receptionist for 10 mins at our arrival (it was afer 2am). It would be good idea to have a bell to call for assistance.

  : I was really disappointed with an attitude from a receptionist on the day of our arrival. One of the rooms we rented didn’t have the air conditioning, so I asked for a portable fan. The reception lady said she will check and someone will drop it off to our room. Two hrs later when leaving for a meal, I asked the same receptionist about the fan (she wasn’t approachable or acknowledged me and my partner at the reception desk, I needed to gain her attention), she said that if there wasn’t one in our room, it’s unlikely they will have one available, however she will check again and if found, it will be left at the reception for us to collect. I asked if I can be notified if/when they will find a fan, to which she responded rudely that she doesn’t understand my request and that I don’t make any sense. I responded that it would save us keep on asking about it and a text message would be nice. I told the lady that I don’t like the tone of her voice and attitude and asked for her name. She refused to provide it, there was a small white dog next to her at the reception. Her attitude and lack of professionalism was shocking. I visited this hotel many times, all staff were always helpful, however I’ve noticed lack of acknowledgement and engagement from the reception team. No one greets you, says hello or goodbye, or asks about your stay anymore.After few hrs I’ve received a text message that the fan has been left at the reception. When we got back, there was another gentleman at the reception, who when we commented about the unpleasant experience from his colleague, apologised and said, that she is a woman and maybe she’s just had a bad day, which I’m going to leave without a comment. This experience really changed my opinion about the hotel, it feels like there is no personal touch, professionalism and management who looks after the standard of service.
