  : It is a pleasant room and everything works. Clearly getting past the front door and up the rickety, badly lit and smelly staircases (no lift) is not a pleasant experience, but once you are past the door to the apartment the standard is as it should be in the main.But there is unlikely to be everything you would expect in terms of water, toilet roll, tea, coffee and milk, etc. Don't even dream about a fruit bowl, box of chocs or bottle of wine, or any rolls, butter and jam. The paid WiFi was great, but some of the power points are in disrepair which could pose a danger to children.
  : Lack of attention - staff ignored my emails about lack of toilet paper. There is really nothing there to justify a service fee, it is just robbery really. Normally if you pay a big welcome fee you expect at least tea and coffee and a lot of places do much more than that for a smaller service fee. I had to go to the shop and buy these things for myself, including the basic of toilet roll and drinking water. I have never experienced something like this since 1989.There is also a fee for burning wood even though it is the height of summer and nobody is going to burn wood. I wouldn't do so anyway.They were not ready when I arrived because they are unresponsive to email.At the time of booking I asked for a VAT invoice. Two weeks later I am still waiting. What is the point? They will have to give me one anyway. If I cannot persuade them to, the tax office certainly will.
