  : The property is in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from major tourist destinations. It is huge and has a truly unique spirit of the 1920s and we really enjoyed our stay there. There is plenty of public on-street parking near the location and very easy to get to local pubs/restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely look to book again once back in Gdansk. The host put the selection of books and children's toys on the shelves which was an additional asset.

  : This vintage apartment brought us 100 years back - many details that are giving a special vibe: furniture, decorations, lighting. Good location - less than 10 minutes walk to the old city center.
  : The entrance/corridor has a specific smell of the old house and wasn't clean.

  : Location is perfect, a quiet street yet very close to the Old Town, my favourite place to stay when in Gdask. The aprtment is very spacious and that feeling is intensified by the hetght of the ceilings. The place looks like the real thing from 1925 though so be prepared and do not expect it to be all-modern and XXI century comfy. Don't get doscouraged by the outside of the building :) I would recommend this for a romantic stay for couples, no doubt about that!
  : Key pickup at the Chmielna office building, office closes at 5pm so arrange for key pickup in advance (tehy'll use the Chmeilna office key lockers). Despite the early XX century vibe, there's no decent period-appriopriate couch in the apartment, just a cheap Ikea foldable sofa. The place is cluttered with stuff to the point you'll be wondering if you've collected all your belongings. The gass hob lights only using matches or a handheld gas lighter - which are not on the premises so you'll need to get some yoursef - it's also not of the safe kind, just turning the gas knob releases gas, period, be wary if you have kids! The old furniture works like you'd expect from non maintaned 100 year old furniture. It's not bad once you accept you're time travelling back at leat 80 years. The light is very dim, especially in the kitchen, tons of small lamps don't really help here. I'm serious though - be careful when staying there with young children - definitely not a 3-4 year old kid-safe house.

  : If you want to feel the atmosphere of 1925, this apartment is exactly, what you need! The owners really made a great job to reach it and it obviously was a success - every corner of a house pulses 1925 AD! The apartment is at the very good place - less than 1 km from the city centre, which is absolutely wonderful! Also, it is very close to a couple canals, so you can feel the nature in the city. Every night we enjoyed an enthusiastic, long and free of charge United Gdansk canals frogs choir, which really added a lot of charm for the stay, And we could turn it off at every moment by closing plastic windows, if it was too much for us :). The rooms are very spacious and with high ceilings, so even after closing the windows there was enough fresh air inside. We could feel some gentle vibrations of the house, which added extra charm to the place, when a bus went near by, but it was a really rare thing. There's no TV at the apartment, but this time it was a big +, because we could escape from a daily routine and anyway we don't speak Polish, so we didn't miss it at all. Besides, there were no TV's at 1925, so we got what we wanted :).
  : There's a very close building sites from two sides of the apartment, so from the 7 am workers started their noisy job. But a few month later this should end. On the other side, since 4 or 5 pm those 2 sides were absolutely silent. A water heating by gas was quite annoying - water in the showing room run cold - hot - cold - hot, and in the kitchen it was cold all the time. A longer stay with a small kids would be quite hard for this reason. Hope, you'll fix it soon. There was no proper long lighter in the kitchen, so to turn on gas was always a little stress to burn out fingers. Proper lighter costs cents, so it could be fixed easily. I'm a fan of shower cabin instead of bath, so to take a shower was quite a challenge, when all the sides of a bath were open ( but I knew it before ordering an apartment, so have no right to complain). Also, the bath is historically right thing at such apartment, but if you stay for longer, than a nigt or two, a comfort takes over historical truth :).

  : Spaciuos apartment, with a spaciuos kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of space for a 4 person family.Interesting 20th century vibe.Good location close to city centre with free on street parking in the nearby street (3-5mins aeay from the flat).Clean apartment with all neccessary kitchen accesories and a nice set of toys for children.
  : The building is noticeably shaking when bigger cars or busses pass by the nearby street (noticeable in the main bedroom especially at night time).In July 2023 construction work is undergoing in two nearby apartment blocks which are perhaps 20 meters away from the apartment and the workers start noisy work at 7am every working day. Without daytime curtains (which there aren't any in the apartment) there is a lack of privacy during working hours. Hot water is heated by an instant heating boiler which makes the temperature unstable in the shower (i.e. hot-cold-hot-cold every 15 seconds)Apartment located on 3rd floor - not ideal with small children.
