: Kitchen well equipped. Ample dinning room. Farming activities around gives it character. Not far from Broughton, in case you need to get milk or jam. A couple of toilet rolls in the toilets in case you forget your own, don't forget to buy for the third day onwards though, you won't have any extra. Host checked periodically for any new requirement.
: It may be a glitch from the Booking.com website but we booked for 6 people and paid for the room well in advance. A couple of days before the actual stay it appeared as if the booking was for 2 people only. The mood in the party went down a bit at the unexpected extra cost (we wouldn't cancel the whole thing days before the trip!). No water at all on the first day and night due to a pump failure. It was repaired by midday the following day. Bring blankets. Mine was not enough and we went in Summer! Give the Sofa/Bed to someone that is not picky. Is not very comfortable. If you want to have a BBQ get your own charcoal. The charcoal bag we were given wasn't enough for 3 people, and we're 7!

: Very beautiful with wild life, birds, rabbits, hare and deer. Very quiet. As the weather was good the courtyard with seats was well used and an opportunity to talk to other guests. Good cafe in the village.
: You had to get keys to access the lounge etc. You had to drive a long way to a pub but fine if you are self catering.

: The stream/river outside the living room window was relaxing, the sofas were very comfortable. Liked having toilets both upstairs and downstairs.
: There was a constant hum all night and the WiFi kept dropping off and the free view box needs updating as on some channels there was a permanent upgrade message.

: Ralph and Rosanne are great hosts, later check in was no problem. Anything we asked for was there in no time. House was lovely and very clean. Very nice and internesting to get information about the Farm and land during the tour over the farm.
