: The staff were helpful and kind. The hot tub was very nice. The bed was fine with good sheets and pillows. The breakfasts are very good.
: Mostly, it isn't good to bring a dog to this island. A dog can not stay in a room unattended, and our dog is an older golden and was very tired. We spent a lot of time trying to find someone to watch our dog, wasted a day doing that. Because there was practically one available to do this, our dog got sick, and of course, we couldn't kayak or go whale watching. None of this is the fault of owners of property - just leave your dog home because I ended up in tears. It wasn't a vacation, just tiring, and I really needed a vacation. The room we stayed in needs air conditioning and/or the fan fixed to blow air downwards. There is a lot of road noise, but I honestly don't know if this is a problem in general with rooms on the island. Our ferry home was canceled. which i understand happens often ... again, it's not the fault of the owners, but honestly, all things considered, I just wouldn't stay on the island. Stay on the mainland, take day trips to the island to kayak, and whale watch. And leave your pup home.

: The owners and staff were awesome. The breakfasts were delicious.. And the room and all the amenities were great.
: I would have rated it all as excellent if the room would have had AC. They did provide us with a small cooling device. However, it was just to warm for it to of much help.
