  : The outside grounds were lovely. The inside of the lobby itself is warm and inviting. They have a movie theater, but it's super cold. Bring a blanket. The inside pool is heated. The inside hot tub is very large and nice.
  : The housekeeping wasn't great at all!! We stayed 3 nights and only had 1 day of housekeeping. I called the front desk to ask for more towels, and they showed up about 1 1/2 hours later. I asked about housekeeping, and they said they closed at 5 pm , but they showed up at 6:30 pm while we were getting ready for dinner, so I had to turn them away. The garbage cans were overflowing, and the used towels piled up it was absolutely gross!! The actual room itself seemed like it needed some repairs, the ceiling was peeling, and the shower needed caulking. The outside adult and kids pool hot tub both had broken jets for days and weren't working. The outside adult pool had beetles swimming all over in it, yet the attendent at the gate just sat there eating a sandwich. As a high paying guest, it's not our job to bring things like this to the resorts attention. They need to be more on top of these things. The front desk doesn't communicate well. When I checked in, I said that I wanted to pay cash at checkout. You would hope that they would note that somewhere, anywhere but no at checkout, they charged my credit card instead. So, now I get to pay interest on that!! Also, for incidental holds, it is $600!!! That's absolutely RIDICULOUS! That is on top of what you're already paying for the room. They don't tell people that until they check in. It's too late, in my opinion. It was a stressful trip given the expense you pay to stay at what is supposed to be a high-end resort!! Dissatisfied to say the least. I will be staying elsewhere in the future for sure!!

  : The smell in the hallways. It smelled very musty and moldy for some reason. It just seems like it needs to be renovated in areas.

  : the staff at Waterfront restaurant was a bit slow and hard to deal with, our waitress had a hard time understanding the order, the steak was not cooked properly (overcooked) and she did not bring the waters until reminded twice. the air conditioner in our room (1412) was very very loud comparing to other rooms next to ours. the game room smelled weird.

  : Great amenities at the resort and the staff was very helpful. Plenty of good food and beverage options. Perfect location minutes walk from the lake and beach. Although breakfast wasn’t included the buffet was reasonably priced and very good food options.
  : Room was generally clean but there was an empty beer can and plastic container between the bed and night stand and we were missing fresh coffee cups so could pay more attention to detail when cleaning. We had a newborn which we preferred to use our bassinet stroller to get around which was easier said than done. The resort was very nice and updated but you could tell it was built prior to ADA requirements with lots of stairs everywhere and limited elevators. We couldn’t get from the room to the lobby indoors without lifting the stroller up/down at least one flight of stairs.
