  : Booking.com mentioned the possibility of a 10 centime breakfast, even in the confirmation. This seemed unlikely, and sure enough the lady didn't know anything about it. How on earth did that get onto the site?

  : Beautiful old property in a lovely little medieval village (in which Chocolat was filmed). The room was really nice and comfortable and the breakfast was very personal with our host sitting down with us and another couple to chat. There is a gorgeous terraced garden as well.
  : Being an old house, it is a little creaky - just to be aware with the other guest room next to you. Again, being a house, you share a bathroom (albeit a lovely one) which is fine, just something to be aware of.

  : Beautiful village and house. We were lucky to have the night of the candles around the village whilst there.
  : Not happy that keys were not provided to lock our room (especially with other guests there). We were told by the maitre d' that there should be no issues and 'she was always there' but we saw her out in the village later - twice ! This was compounded by the fact that on our return in the late evening, the front door was left unlocked. Also we missed the fact that it was shared bathroom etc facilities which was a minor inconvenience. The maitre d' recommended a restaurant nearby without mentioning others in the village. We took her recommendation without questioning in depth. It turned out to be Thai - whilst good we were expecting French for which there are two other excellent restaurants in the village. We suspect a commercial relationship to the Thai restaurant.

  : Shared bedroom with second room in this guest house ... otherwise we have rated with 10

  : Very beautiful village, the host was friendly and welcoming, comfortable bed. The house has plenty of character and the (shared, see below)bathroom is very spacious and clean.
  : Check-in as of 18hrs, cash payment required, shared bathroom, (although the second guest room was not occupied during our stay, so it did not really affect us.) Room a bit too cluttered to our taste.
