  : It's a nice, clean and rather peaceful place. We pretty much got everything we needed. Staff was polite and helpful.
  : There could be a bit more options in the breakfast. E.g. scrambled eggs would be nice. Americans would miss bacon.It was good enough for me, though. There were few bread options, yoghurt, filter coffee (which I liked), boiled eggs and some meat and cheese for the bread.Of course, there's not too much to see in Farchant (other than nature) but by car it takes only 10 minutes to Garmisch.

  : Fantastic breakfast. The hotel is neat, clean, and gemuetlich. What lovely views of the Zugspitzland from the windows! We have stayed here twice now, and will certainly return.

  : Location is great, hiking, biking, mountains near by. Breakfast in the morning was good. Pizza in the restaurant was really good, did not get a chance to eat there but once, would have like to try other items on the menu.
  : OVER CHARGED US, still waiting to hear from the hotel, our bill on booking was for 3 people with breakfast. We were charged an extra 55 Euros, have not received a reply from the hotel when I wrote them about the issue. Parking can really suck, because it is limited and there is a good restaurant in the hotel, hotel guest have to search for other parking at times because it is also for patrons of the restaurant also. It does not help when hotel guest take two spots and the "dude" at the desk tells you to squeeze in where you can't open your door. Don't usually comment on poor attitudes from the staff, not this time. You can look at my other guest reviews. Again, STILL waiting to hear from the hotel about the OVERCHARGE. If there was something we did not know about, I have no problem, however according to my Booking reservations, we new what the final cost was to be.

  : Located in the lovely town of Farchant, this little B&B offers access to some great hiking trails and Garmisch (which is less than 10 minutes away). The room felt authentic to the region, the price was decent, and overall the stay was comfortable. Parking was easy, breakfast was good enough for light breakfast eaters like my partner and me, and the neighborhood was lovely and safe.
  : The staff was genuinely awful. Check-out is at 11, but we heard at knock around 9. Then, even though we had a "Do not disturb" placard on our door, an hour later the cleaning team unlocked our room and nearly caught a glimpse of my man-bits. Not cool. Then, around 10:45, we heard a THIRD knock. My partner opened the door to see a woman literally tapping her watch how rude is that?! My partner firmly told her when check-out is, then another staffer jumped in and told the door-knocker to cool her jets. On top of this, someone left an open pouch of bodywash on the sink in our bathroom; plus there were long hairs on the desk and in the sheets. In addition, one night as my partner and I searched for dessert, the attached restaurant staffed by the same folks as the hotel AFAIK turned us away because we were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes (again, all we wanted was dessert, and the restaurant was still open for another hour and 15 minutes). But then we saw another party seated when we walked past 30 minutes later. Perhaps we don't know the full circumstances, but the issue was the tone with which the waitress turned us away. I realize that three instances of poor service may lead you, dear reader, to question our manners, but we couldn't have been kinder to the staff! I speak German, too (I grew up in the area), so it wasn't a culture barrier. What it was is pathetically poor service. My advice to travelers: If you're on the fence between Landgasthof Kirchmayer and another spot, choose the other spot.

  : Nice hotel, cosy and clean. Staff is friendly. Close to the translation and bus stop. The breakfast is basic but also nice. Thanks a lot for a nice stay:)
  : The only point from me is a price. But it is Garmish in winter, so I had to take it.
