  : A nice spacious room, it had a couch in addition to the bed. Bathroom/shower also good, everything seemed to be in decent condition. The restaurant downstairs was a nice place for dinner. The location is very central, in the Old Town. Parking is in the back - hotel kindly emailed the directions to the parking a day before arrival. The staff was friendly.
  : There is no elevator.

  : - Rooms were exactly like the photos.- Great location (especially if you are visiting the castles).- Helpful staff.- Breakfast was the best weve had on our trip so far.
  : - There is no lift, but we knew this before we went and its no problem. We should have just used an overnight bag, but the staff offered to help in any event.

  : Really helpfull staff, eaven thoug we arrived relatively late. good food (rely on staff to tell you what is currently a good option!!) nice location for visiting the castles. Good breakfast spread, fruit, sweet options, meat options, coffe.... :)
  : Parking spaces somewhat tight, be sure to arrive earlier to have better options for parking!

  : One of the highlights was the spacious room filled with ample natural light. The hotel's location is truly outstanding, situated right in the heart of the city center making it incredibly convenient for exploring local attractions, dining, and shopping.
  : My recent stay at Hotel Ludwigs was far from satisfactory. While the room initially appeared great, the bedsheets seemed to have been used before my arrival, which led to an uncomfortable night's sleep. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, indicative of it not being used or cleaned for a significant period. Another major inconvenience was the second-floor location of my room, with no elevator available. This crucial detail was omitted from the room description when I booked, adding an unexpected hassle to my stay. The on-site restaurant didnt fare much better. It gave off a tacky vibe, and the layout forced customers to pass by the kitchen en route to the restroom. Unfortunately, the kitchen itself was in disarray, with dishes, cleaning products, and food all intermixed a mess that surely raises food hygiene concerns. Desserts barely covered with plastic wrap did not inspire confidence in the quality of food served. Additionally, the reception area was quite unprofessional. The receptionist was eating lunch in a cramped corner, placing his food plate on top of office supplies, including the stapler he later used on our receiptsdefinitely not a reassuring sight. In general the staff seemed worn out and irritable, almost as if genuinely burdened by their duties. Throughout my entire stay, not once did I receive a smile or a warm greeting. The overall atmosphere was one of apathy and disinterest, which further detracted from the experience. In summary, while Hotel Ludwigs has potential with its aesthetically pleasing rooms, significant improvements need to be made in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and transparency regarding amenities. Until these issues are addressed, I would advise prospective guests to consider other options for a more comfortable and pleasant stay.
