  : The check in staff was very quick and pleasant. The hotel is attached to several restaurants which we did enjoy the Tap House. The wait staff at the Tap House was great. If you are a person who loves casinos this would be a great place to stay as you do not have to leave the hotel to get to everything you would need for hours by yourself or with others. The hotel was not too far from everything we could walk to our venue and to other downtown places. We had transportation offered in our fees but did not partake in this offer.
  : We did not think the bed was comfortable in our room. We could never get the temperature in our room at a comfortable level. We were offered an upgrade status prior to our checking in to the hotel. Since the room could not be upgraded unless we chose to have a corner room our expectations of our room prior to seeing it may have been too high. We paid almost 200.00 for a room in Evansville IN that could have easily been a $80-$100 down the road. It being our first stay in this hotel I think we just pre-set our expectations too high. The breakfast was also nothing special. The tables for the breakfast area were actually short and small like "coffee" tables. It was very uncomfortable trying to eat leaned over a short table. I felt that I would have been better setting on the floor instead of in the chair offered. We stay in up to 2 hotels a month between Nashville TN and Indy and for our money and what we like and expect we will more than likely skip Le Merigot next time staying in Evansville. Comfort is high on our list of needs for a hotel and we just had too many moments of uncomfortable circumstances.
