  : Legendary place to stay. Very welcoming to our two little dogs. We were refugees from the storm so felt fortunate to have the room.
  : Room was small and bed less comfortable than expected. No heat the first night and when we asked about it the next day we were given an electric space heater and told that they knew about thermostat malfunction and that the window had been open all day ( in winter)...they forgot when we checked in...no adjustment offered.Breakfast didn't start until 0730 so I missed both mornings but I know from previous experience that the breakfast is great.

  : Breakfast was exceptional, great service. Front desk service was extremely helpful.
  : The last night of our stay,there was a loud party going on until 230am. The area around the hotel seemed a bit run down , but very close to historical old town.

  : Quaint, quiet, and a great staff. They made the best of everything at their disposal.
  : Relating purely to the "bang for thr buck", Nothing modern, no smart tv, microwave, or fridge. Sour creamers for coffee. Small coffee cups, 2 sips, and you need a refill. There is no in room phone to call the front desk. I have to use cell, even though room notes say dial 0.

  : Location is ok, walking distance to most attractions. There is a lot of homeless in the area, and they hang out outside the hotel, not what you want to look at when you are eating. Had an issue with my breakfast on my last day, waited over an hour and no food arrived.
  : I was given $20 refund as a result of no breakfast. However when I looked at the bill this was a refund from gratuities, so in principle the staff lost $20 in tips that I had left in compensation for no breakfast which was a management issue. I am sure that this is illegal. Compensation is insulting for a 3 day stay having spent nearly $1000. Room service was very poor, not supervised the first day, beds never made, and dirty dishes and utensils, not cleared away. Towels were grubby looking, and the windows in the hotel haven't been cleaned in a long time. Mind you Im not sure it would improve the view of the car park that I had. Make sure where exactly you are staying as almost all the rooms let out are not in the building that features prominently in the booking site.
