  : Its a bit run down and in need of investment. We got the feeling that nobody really cared much - such a difference from the other hotels we have stayed at this week.

  : Location brilliant but Google maps takes you to a different hotel along the street. The right one is nearby but not completely obvious. Facilities great, including Jacuzzi for 4 people. Breakfast ok. My son appreciated the free drinks on tap during the day.
  : The staff at the hotel were friendly but the communication received since was abusive, hectoring and bullying. On arrival I asked if I should pay but was told I had already done so. I didn't question this since this can happen with Booking.com bookings. On check-out I passed over our key cards and we spent 20 minutes sorting out our bikes in the hotel entrance (we were cycling the Danube). 2 days later I received a message saying I had not paid and was asked to transfer the money from my bank. I replied the same day to say that I would do so on my return to England in 13 days (since I had to phone my bank to do so). I explained that I had been told I had already paid. 9 days later I received a message: "If you do not provide us with confirmation of payment within 3 working days, we will deal with it legally". When I pointed out I had already told them I would pay on return they said: "Nowadays, internet banking already exists. If we do not pay for our services, we will solve it by legal means!" And later: "I will reply to your review that you left the guesthouse without paying. I would like to inform you that every bank nowadays supports international payments". Well my bank, Smile, does not. You can check on their website. I paid as advised on my return. It took 30 minutes to call my bank after waiting for an operator. There is no need for this sort of correspondence when their staff advised me I had paid.
