  : Very friendly staff not too far from the beach and old town Encinitas.
  : This place has seen better days. The patio was dirty, the patio door was off its tracks and difficult to open, the sink didn't drain properly, and the pillows were not comfortable. For the price I'd expect much better.

  : Where to start?Front desk is in a gloomy, old room. Walked into our room and it was an old stuffy, musty smell. No toilet paper holder so we have to put the roll on the floor. We had a patio, but it was empty of furniture, so we couldn’t use it. No “do not disturb” signs. People were tearing pages from notebooks and putting them on the threshold of their doors. We left the slider open because of the smell and were BLASTED every hour and a half with a train horn. So we were up all night with the noise of trains or highway traffic. The top comforter was a very thin blanket and there was nothing else to stay warm. Went to the gym and it was pretty good, other than not having any wipes to clean off the machines after use. That grossed us out. We booked 3 nights and only stayed one. Thankfully they let us cancel the rest of the trip since it was before 11. They charge you $15 a day for WiFi, parking and breakfast, whether you use these things or not. We didn’t have a car, the WiFi was spotty and we didn’t eat breakfast. I think it’s lame to charge for WiFi these days. It should be included since we are paying $340 a night for this very basic king room. I hear they recently remodeled and renamed this hotel and we describe it as putting lipstick on a pig. They cut corners as much as they could.

  : Cleanliness, pillows, breakfast selection and timing. They ran out of food. Rooms were not close to each other and the sofa bed was broken. Noisy on the weekends and marijuana smoke pouring into our room from a room partying below. Very disappointed
