Hotel Guillem & Spa

Very Poor
Traveller Type:
: The location was very quiet and a nice distance to the bus stop.
: We were overcharged for the city tax person. When we were checking out, the man did not explain the tax and just gave us an amount to pay each. There was some lost in translation but we paid the amount he asked for. We then found out he overcharged us by 18,81 euros when reading the city tax per person. I tried contacting the hotel but they stated we were only overcharged 7 euros. Then when asked how to get the refund, they just stopped replying to my messages and emails. I find it very unprofessional how they are when conducting the fees. We checked out really early at 6am and the worker took 10 mins to get to the counter. When he was talking he smelled of alcohol. Aside from the reception? The rooms were decently sized but the bathroom didn't seem that clean.

Pleasant

: The swimming pool and the hot tubs were very good. The fire in the hidden lounge. The breakfasts.
: There was no kettle to Make tea or coffee. The parking was not free. It was very difficult to find a paid space near the hotel. Very expensive for the facilities.

Very Good

Wonderful
Traveller Type:
: Great hotel with amazing staff who were always willing to help. Having a hotel with a sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi was a real bonus on a ski holiday and the free/frequent bus up to the Funicamp cablecar was great. We also liked the very large games room and hotel bar to relax in. We were also there for the Carnival which was brilliant and a truly unique experience. And who doesn't like 6am fireworks on a Sunday :)
: Only slight negative is that the soundproofing between rooms could be better. You can literally hear every footstep or cupboard opening from your neighbours.
