  : SORRY! BAD EXPERIENCE! We stay at this hotel 2 times per year and usually a pleasant stay. This trip we booked 2 rooms, 1 canal view and 1 standard. We arrived at 12 30 and told rooms would be ready at 1. Not a problem as we had a drink at the bar. We were given keys at 1:15 and went to canal room which was never cleaned! They offered a different room which we accepted. We put our clothes in closet, including 2 pairs of shoes.After this we discovered a big hole in ceiling and poor view of the canal. They said they would clean original room and would be ready in 30 minutes. We were disappointed, but we accepted. We quickly packed and stored our suitcases in friend's room. NOW 3:00 ! They offered us a drink while we waited. Finally, moved back to original room but did not unpack our things as anxious to go out.We went out for the day. We returned at 10 p.m and asked at the restaurant if we could have dinner. The manager was not happy but allowed us to sit and given menus.within 5 minutes he told us to leave as he said only calamari was left. I didn't hear him and continued reading the menu. Apparently I was taking to long and he accused us of being drunk . The managers name was Raul. Our friends were horrified at this and the husband who happens to be an important manager of a big company and travels weekly found this service unacceptable. When he tried to speak with the manager about the insult of being drunk he proposed they should fight!! Many people outside the bar Restaurant and needless to say it was embarrassing. It happened to be my birthday and I sent a request two weeks before so our trip would be enjoyable as our friends had never been to this hotel.The experience was horrible and we checked out early next morning. The hotel standard has changed since our last visit. Breakfast no longer served and our treatment from beginning to end was truly disappointing.

  : The staff was friendly and the bar in an Irish Pub style is cozy and has a terrasse overlooking part of the marina. I don't speak Spanish, so I spoke French with them. They speak very basic English.
  : In general, the noise from the machines, circular saws etc., the workers used for they renovation job. Should be over by now. I stayed in room 403, and I could not get rid of the strong odor from the sewers in the bathroom. Also the tap/faucet of the very small sink was loose! If you are in a hurry in the morning at 8:00 when the bar opens, just get an espresso and a chocolate crousant. Any sandwiches take forever and there is NO breakfast buffet.
