: We spend in the flat couple of night and though we said it was very expensive as we needed to pay extra (15 euro per person) for the sheets, we were quite happy. But when we left the place we found ourselves in a situation of being scammed. We tried to use the washing machine one day and while we opened the door of the washing machine, the handle stayed in our hands, with clear evidence that it was already broken and someone tried to fix it with some glue. A part of the door above the handle also looked broken and there was a message next to it to turn off the washing machine to open the door. We found all clear indications that it has been broken before, and that's why we tried to leave it as it was before. But even though it was such a small detail, the owner of the apartment saw it exactly the day we left as if she had come up with that it was a fragile point, that if someone would use it she would surely break it. We feel like we're in a trap, and that's why we tried to leave it as it was before. Then the owner has also charged us for a blind lock due to misuse, which we did not use as the window was going to the great view of the beach. Also according to a photo we have taken only after entering the apartment, the blinds were open and we left them open for our entire stay. And that charge made it clear to us that the real estate agency that has rented us for 5 days for that apartment wants to charge us a little more than our deposit, about 100 euros for a whole washing machine door and to fix some blinds that we have not touched. We contacted booking.com, we tried to contact the bank of our credit card, but at the end we complained to the Agency again and agreed to pay 50 euros just because 2 weeks later we were moving to Germany. If that would not be the case, we would proceed the case further with European customer center as indeed we were being used. Long story short, I do not recommend to deal with the agency.
