  : Location was excellent for the beautiful surrounding area. Several water related amenities were available, ie; kayaks, beach, volleyball, etc.
  : Facilities somewhat in disrepair, ie; shower. Somewhat overpriced, but we did enjoy our time in the dunes area.

  : Great location right in Sleeping Bear Dunes. Expensive for a room but clean and comfortable and worth it to be close to the reserve. Lovely private jetty for swimming or kayaking right on the lake.
  : Tv didnt work but not a problem for us as we only wanted to catch the news for 10 mins.

  : Great place to stay, room was extra clean, comfy bed. The bathroom got super hot and bath door didn't stay open but the positives outweighed any negative. Short walk to one of the prettiest lakes in Michigan, such clear water, sandy bottom!! Great location to dunes and Empire/Glen Arbor. Can't wait to stay here again!!!!

  : We arrived exhausted after a long drive and were just into the room when the motel clerk came running up to tell us he will be charging us $35 plus tax for our pet for the night. Before booking we carefully looked over the listing for any mandatory pet fees and found none. We agreed to pay the charges quoted for staying one night. We informed the motel before they billed us we had a pet and thanked them for taking our well behaved pet. The motel booked the room for us at that time and charged the fee quoted and we agreed to. There was no mention of any additional fees for the pet. This is the statement on their website: "Pets are allowed on request. Charges MAY apply." We were lead to believe there would be no charge for the pet, and felt badly strong-armed by the clerk who stood in front of us as we tried to unpack the car. We had not agreed to the additional charges, nor were we told about them in advance. This is not fair or proper. The time to mention any pet fee is before someone agrees to pay the bill and has the chance to decide if they want to pay that rate or not. The only reason we chose this motel was the lower price. If we had wanted to pay what they ended up charging us, we could have and would have reserved a cottage one block over right on the lake, which also took pets. In the end, the bill jumped from approximately $158. to over $200. Not a pleasant experience to be strong-armed at the last minute and have no alternatives at check in time, but to pay the fee. We will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, as well.

  : This was a quaint, clean, very great facility in an excellent location. The check-in/out process was really smooth and easy, and the room had a cute little kitchen, which was a bonus we weren't expecting. The shower was tiny, but had great water pressure and heat. Highly recommend!
