Emerald Isle Family Escape Walk to the Ocean

  : Within walking distance of the ocean. Nice newer appliances. Good outside lighting, especially stairs at night.
  : The single beds with plastic coverings were very uncomfortable as were the couches. King bed had no mattress cover. One bathroom smelled musty and had broken toilet paper hanger. One bedroom door was coming off top hinge. Front screen door hanging off. Doors were difficult to lock and unlock. Dirty vents etc. Some of the skillets were unusable. Big screen tv in one bedroom did not work.

  : Broken window in front right bedroom, no water filter for refrigerator, giant hole in bedroom rug with exposed rough flooring, broken air conditioner in downstairs bedroom, two broken blinds in master bedroom and rear left bedroom, holes in master bedroom comforter, large tears in all front deck chair cushions and damaged sofa in living room. One month prior to stay I requested an hour early check-in and received approval for this. When I arrived I had no packet or keys available to pick up and was told that I wasn’t supposed to be there for another hour.The agent was very curt and unpleasant about it, and after reprimanding me,sent someone to deliver my packet.
