  : The location right next to the castle was marvellous with fantastic views across the city from our 3rd floor apartment. The apartment felt cosy and welcoming. Our host provided all the info we needed to access the apartment including a video on how to access the key.
  : The bathroom would benefit from hooks or a rail to hang towels as there wasn't anywhere to put them. Drawers in the bedrooms would be a great advantage.

  : The location is excellent and the apartment plan is great for families with excellent kitchen facilities and a warm and cosy living room
  : The bed linen and mattresses are pretty dated. And the entrance and the building are quite dark and run down

  : Fabulous building and a beautiful apartment, very comfortable and relaxing. Perfect location just below the castle and with stunning views from all rooms. Perfect location to stay in as pretty much in the heart of all the key areas and sites if you have not stayed in Edinburgh before.

  : Location was great , views great , plenty of space in apartment . All amenities were provided.
  : Shower power was poor, lighting was dark with a few little lights broken or bulbs missing . Heating struggles to keep the place warm as the windows are slightly drafty . But that said it didn't ruin our break , just a few minors that could be cured to make it an exceptional place to stay.

  : Excellent location. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Lovely large bathroom.
  : The stairs. I dont recall any mention of the extremely difficult spiral stone stairwell which was poorly lit and difficult to negotiate. Particularly with heavy suitcases. (There is now a reference to the stairs - which may have been added since we booked?)It is 4 floors up from the street. Not an easy climb. Kitchen crockery was minimal and mostly chipped. Odd assortment of glasses and cutlery. Towel quality and quantity could have been better. Hooks and more surface space would be a great help in bathroom and bedrooms. Limited drawer space in twin bedroom.
