  : Location and view from bedroom window were excellent. Staff serving breakfast were very friendly and accommodating.
  : Hotel not happy to show Euro final which was a shame. Also, do not feel that charging hotel guests £20 to park the car is acceptable. We have stayed in many hotels in large cities and have never been charged before. This was also not mentioned until we came away from the hotel.

  : The hotel itself was lovely, beautifully renovated, decorated and comfortable. The staff was all very professional and pleasant. We had an outstanding evening at the Bar with Cameron teaching us the subtleties between different types of Scottish Whiskies.
  : We paid a hefty price for a Superior King Room and had requested a “quiet room with a lovely view” if possible, months in advance when I made the booking. When we checked in, we were given a room on the below-Ground level with a direct view of the Car Park. Immediately, after seeing the room, I called the front desk to see if it was possible to change rooms and was informed that all of the rooms were already occupied. I understand that these requests are contingent upon availability, but I find it hard to believe that was the only Superior King room available earlier in the day, on a Monday when other guests checked out. Also, there seemed to have been some confusion as to whether our breakfast was included in our booking or not. We were told on check-in that yes, it was included and then on check-out, we were informed it was not. As you can imagine, this left us disappointed, for a second time.

  : The hotel is in a quiet location but the centre of the city is very close and accessible. It has a calm atmosphere which is much more relaxing than the bustle of larger hotels. The bedroom was comfortable with a great view and the breakfast room is fantastic. The staff were very warm and efficient.
  : The bathroom in the room could have been a bit larger for a 5 star hotel although the room itself was very nice.
