  : The position
  : I would never want to stay in that apartment again! This apartment is really in a very good area of the city, but to get there (door nr. 4, but it should have been door nr. 9), you have to climb a narrow and high tube of stairs that rotate and when you have a suitcase you can even get sunburned! Apart from great tired to climb so many stairs! The host - lady of the apartment was not friendly at all: the apartment lacks heating. Ive cold! There is no place to hang towels in the bathroom. I could not use the TV at work! I called in the evening Mrs. Jo for one more blanket and to help me get the TV set to work, but he said: - "There you are, now it's too late" Even the next day he didn't bring me a blanket and I couldn't get the TV set to work. Yes, the apartment has many windows, like a watchtower, it annoys you when you have to close the shutters every night! And the bed? Very narrow for 2 people! At least we warmed up sitting next to each other! Too bad for an apartment and a host. A woman who did not respond if you asked him for something human. Very bad!

  : 76 steps up the narrow spiral stairs to get in with our luggage. If we were not fit we would not have made it.

  : Great apartment, Fantastic views, loverly original features. perfect location
  : had an issue with the main radiator, so the apartment was a bit cold, however it was a very cold weekend. Hopefully Jo will get it fixed.

  : Very charming apartment. Excellent location. Great view to the North. Apartment was quiet in spite of being oh High Street. Coffee and tea in apartment.
  : Bed was small for 2 people. Seating was not that comfortable in the apartment. Apartment missing a few things-toilet paper, dishtowels. Up 4 flights-which was noted in the website but the stairs are narrow so not for anyone with mobility issues.

  : Spacious living sleeping area with good views Decent kitchen nice bathroom .Right in the heart of the Royal Mile but many floors up so only the most raucous drunks could be heard .
  : Over 70 steep narrow stairs wind their way up which is tricky, at best, with big suitcases.

  : Apartment was clean and well appointed
  : The access was a nightmare. 70+ steps up a steep winding staircase. There is no way I could have managed to get my luggage up to the apartment without assistance and no warning of that. I had made a mistake with my booking and was unable to get any reasonable, or timely assistance, or guidance. I have a property manager running accommodation for me, so this was a good reminder to talk about showing kindness to guests if they need help. Not everything runs perfectly on holiday!
