  : Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was big and had an amazing view of the sea. Loved the little extra like biscuits and hot chocolate.

  : ...this booking had been transferred to The Burlington hotel from the now closed Majestic Hotel. We had 2 issues, firstly we had to travel back home 24 hours early due to a family emergency, missing the final day or the airshow. I checked out, explained the issue and asked if there would be any chance of a refund for the meals we would not be taking and even for the room if you were able to resell it. The issue could not be resolved there and then due to the accounting for the Majestic being carried out separately to the Burlington, but I was advised that it would be "looked into". I was surprise to get a phone call a few days later from the Burlington regarding my "debt" of 491. What debt? Why was the issue not addressed at the time of check out - again, due to the accounting being done separately. Having booked through booking.com this payment was taken from my payment card on the day the booking started and I knew that it had gone through successfully. I had to get a photo of proof that I had made the payment in order that the hotel would be able to "write off" the debt - how ittitating is this, I have never had a debt IN MY LIFE. I w as able to send a copy of rproof of payment and heard nothing else so will assume that I am in the clear as the debt collectors have not called upon me. I also asked about any news on a refund, and have chased twice since, no response. Poor show in my view... resolve the communication issue and, for sure, I will amend my rating...
