: The owner was very friendly upon arrival. Breakfast was also very good.
: 1) the mattress on the bed was truly disappointing. Its was uncomfortable and 'noisy'. Given the cost of the room and the high rating on Booking, I had high hopes. But the mattress needs replacing: Ive been more comfortable in a budget bed. On top of the mattress being uncomfortable, the sheets were also disappointing. Im accustomed to crisp high threadcount cotton in hotels in the similar price bracket. The sheets in the room were shiny/slippy and added to the overall discomfort. Finally I had chosen this hotel as it had a bar - but when I cam down to the bar, there was a notice to say the owners were offsite and that we had to call them to get service. That just summed up the stay: had high hopes but left tired and disappointed.
