  : Very friendly and helpful from manger and his son. Clean rooms. Breakfast was very variable and super. Close to the beach 2 min. Free parking for cars.

  : bathroom is quite small, when I arrived hotel was closed and nobody there, and I had to call twice till someone came, but then it was very good, helpfull staff

  : The location of Vila Max is very good. It is situated couple of kilometers out of the city centre, practically on the beach. Easily accessible by public Durres-Plepa regular bus running in 15 minutes interval. That bus can take you either to the Central Bus Station in one direction, where you can reach from and to Tirana, either to Plepa Bus Station at the other end of the line, from where you can take buses to several other cities of Albania. Very comfortable to travel around in the country if you do not want to rent a car. There are lots of places to eat around and lots of small shops if you would like to have fruit, beverages and other items to consume. There was fridge in the room. Breakfast was provided at Max, but I did not eat it, therefore I do not have opinion about the breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the younger manager speaks English. The rooms are spacious and clean. Many rooms have balconies and sea view. Shower and toilet are in the room - all very clean. WiFi worked well. If I will ever travel to Durres once more, I would choose Max again.
  : It is not criticism in address of Vila Max, but the coastal sand came into the room with my shoes, although I always wiped my feet properly when I entered the house. (The building itself was very clean and was regularly cleaned by the staff.) It is also not a criticism, but you need to remember, that Vila Max accepts only cash payments. People with some disabilities need to take into consideration that the four-story building does not have elevator.
