: The location and the friendly owners.
: The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the shower was too hot and couldn't be turned down.

: The hotel is in a very quiet area and we felt very safe. The host contacted us during the day we were due to arrive and liaised about our arrival time. He was very jolly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was enormous, with 2 double beds and a single. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a beautiful shower and roll-top bath. Everything was spotlessly clean and the decor was fresh. Breakfast was really good, with yoghurts, fresh fruit and fruit juice. We ordered our cooked breakfast the night before and it was ready for us as soon as we wanted it in the morning. The hotel is 10-15 minutes from Durham city centre.
  : Nothing.

  : Room was comfortable
: Too far from city. Internet was spotty. The age of the house itself gave scary vibes (over a 100 years old)
